Shopping Spree at Koorong

I went slightly over-board last weekend with buying books at Koorong. I had to buy these before my staff discount was removed as I was finishing off at Koorong. Yes, I have quit Koorong now after 2 years and 3 months working there as a Java Developer. It has been a great time of blessing, learning a lot about myself even more than all those career-related technical skills. And Koorong has been gracious with me from the start till the end.
Thank you guys for letting me be part of a wonderful company that strives to serve the Lord as a business.

Photos from my trip - 2
More photos from my trip to the USA.
These are from St. Louis, MO.

My sister and I went to the Budweiser Brewery, St. Louis. MO USA. A collection of beers from the Budweiser.

Then we went to the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Inside the Ridgway Center.

With my sister.

A piece of exhibition (Niki in the garden).

A large leaf.

In the Japanese garden within the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Photos from my trip - 1
I'll be posting some photos I took during my trip.
They won't be chronologically ordered. I sometimes may not even post up captions for the photos. But I do hope that they will be giving more information about myself, about the world, and at times visually pleasing, well, hopefully.
This is the first of many more to come. Oh, and I have no idea how many of these will be.

Bits and pieces - 13-Mar-2008
- A nice collection of photos - Some say these aren't "real", but sure these made me to learn photography (even more than before that is).
- Study: depressed turn to blogging as coping mechanism - They say the research is not of a quality, so it must be a coincidence that I also blog... ;-p
- Why (not) leave church? - Gordon's little comment on a Pyromaniacs' post(be sure it isn't a full-fledged article)

Some photos
Some amazing art works. Fortunately, none of these wonderful creatures were killed in making of these.

Coming home
Sorry.
With that kind of title, I think I should write something insightful, inspiring, and heart-warming. My apologies if you expected such a thing too. Maybe one day I will be able to write one, at the moment, I just feel that I am not ready to tackle such a theme introduced by the title like 'coming home'. But maybe one day...
For now, I just have a couple of photos I wanted to post. They are taken using my phone camera again just like before. They were taken on my way home after work, hence the title.
Here you are, let me know if you like them.

Update (24-Feb-2008): I just realised that this post may turn out very ugly for RSS/Atom feed subscribers. Sorry about that. I need to learn more.

Playing with my phone camera
A look from my bed looking up to the window...

Another shot, a bit out of focus, but I liked this one too. It feels like as if it captured the moment I wake up from sleep in the morning.

Which one do you like better and why?
